Training Outline
Do you have children who are always ‘on the go’ or perhaps those who prefer their own spaces?
Are you curious as to how you can better engage these children in academic learning?
This training explores the different sensory preferences of children and provides an understanding of how all children learn through the senses. We will explore different strategies that enhance the sensory experiences for your children and how this can be maximised by learning outdoors at your school.
It is recommended that this training is completed to gain a foundational understanding prior to completing any of the following training:
- A sensory lens of attachment and trauma and the benefits of learning outside
- Outdoor learning for children with praxis challenges
- Using outdoor space for children with a diagnosis of autism
