Alternative Provision: Active Learning and Support

What we offer:
Teach Outdoors provides flexible, relationship-led Alternative Provision for children and young people who may be experiencing anxiety, emotionally based school avoidance, SEND or other barriers to accessing education.
Our provision is built around the individual, using outdoor environments, purposeful activity and strengths-based learning to help young people regulate, relate, re-engage and become ready for their next stage.
Support can include 1:1 provision at home or in the community, small-group woodland provision, Active Learning, transition support and bespoke EOTAS packages.
We work alongside families, schools and professionals to create a joined-up package of support, with the young person at the centre.

Introduction to Curriculum-Linked Outdoor Learning

On-demand online training detailing a comprehensive introduction to outdoor learning on the school grounds. We explore what curriculum-linked outdoor learning looks like and the research around why it is important as a teaching tool.
Teach Outdoors Schools Programme
Who it’s for:
Schools wanting to implement whole-school outdoor learning
What you’ll get:
Through the Teach Outdoors Schools programme, you’ll receive training for your whole school, which is linked to your school development targets. Together we work with your vision and aim for outdoor learning and support you to integrate it sustainably by developing a community of practice. We upskill all of your team so that they join the development journey and are empowered to teach outdoors. This programme is for schools that are fully committed to making a whole school change and embedding outdoor learning as part of their long-term development plan.
Bespoke Consultancy

Leaders interested in outdoor learning
Schools wanting twilight sessions or INSET training
What you’ll get:
